Purpose
Freda AB (“Freda”) issues this notice to explain how we collect, use, and protect the personal data of individuals who visit freda.com, request a product demonstration, or subscribe to our newsletter. It tells you what we collect, why, on what legal basis, how long we keep it, who we share it with, and what rights you have over it.

Who This Notice Covers
This notice applies to visitors to freda.com, wherever in the world they are located, including those who submit a demo request or sign up for our newsletter. It does not cover our processing of customer, platform user, job applicant, employee, or vendor data, which is addressed in separate notices.

Visiting the Site
When you browse freda.com, our hosting provider processes your IP address transiently to deliver the site and guard against abuse; we don’t store it. We set no cookies and use no tracking technologies. Our analytics don’t identify individual visitors. We rely on our legitimate interest in operating and securing the site (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

What We Collect and Why
Demo requests. When you request a product demonstration, we collect your name, work email address, company name, job title, industry, how you heard about us, and what you’re interested in. We use this to schedule the demo and to follow up with you and your organisation about our services. We rely on our legitimate interest in responding to prospective customers and conducting business-to-business sales (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can object to this processing at any time (see section 8); our balancing assessment is available on request.
We retain your details for as long as we are actively engaging with you commercially; if there is no engagement within 24 months of your request, we delete or anonymise your data.
Newsletter. Our sign-up form lets you give us your name and email address so we can send you product updates and industry content. We rely on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), given at the point you opt in, which you can withdraw at any time by contacting privacy@freda.com or via the unsubscribe link in any newsletter email, without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal. We keep your details until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent, after which we retain your email on a suppression list, together with a record of your consent under Article 7(1) GDPR, so we don’t contact you again.

What We Don’t Do
We do not use any of this data to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models. We do not sell your personal data or share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We make no automated decisions about you that have a legal or similarly significant effect.

Who We Share Your Data With
We use Google Ireland Limited to provide Google Workspace, for email and document storage, under a data processing agreement. All processing takes place within the EU/EEA. We may also disclose personal data where required by law or to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:
Access the personal data we hold about you
Have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected
Have your data erased where we no longer have a valid reason to keep it
Restrict our processing, or object to it where we rely on legitimate interest, on grounds relating to your particular situation
Receive a copy of your data in a portable format, where we rely on consent
Withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent (this does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal)
Object to direct marketing at any time, without giving a reason, which we will always honour
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@freda.com. We will verify your identity before acting on a request and will respond within one month, extendable by a further two months for complex requests, in which case we’ll tell you why. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY, www.imy.se) or another competent supervisory authority.

Keeping Your Data Secure
We protect your personal data using encryption in transit and at rest, and we restrict access to personnel who need it to carry out the purposes described above.

Changes to This Notice
We may update this notice from time to time, including when our processing activities, service providers, or legal obligations change. The version published on our website is always the current one; earlier versions are available on request.
